This crisis has spiraled out of control. It's a total fiasco. We've tried everything to fix it, but nothing seems to work. At this point, it feels Very bad like we're toast. Honestly, I don't know what else to do. This is a nightmare of epic proportions.

Dreadful Day Ever
It all started with a case of bedhead hair. I couldn't do it to look right. As I was dashing out the door, I stumbled and dropped my lunch all over my new shoes. To make matters worse, I was completely running behind for school.

A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
